Imagine you are a lonely tired soldier in Aghanistan and some your buddies who have served in Iraq are home and got to watch the Super Bowl from home. Then they got to watch the New York parade for the victors of the Super Bowl. Imagine telling this same soldier in Aghanistan that a players who make millions playing a sport get an immediate and hearty big thank you and a huge public parade but Irag vets who have endured 2 wars over 8 years get nothing except for one solitary parade organized by regular citizens in St Louis? Thank you St Louis but what about New York, Atlanta, Los Angelos, Chicago, Boston, Seattle, Miami, and others.
Can you imagine being this lonely soldier who has his/her life on the line every minute . If you were this lonely soldier in Aghanistan, you might be excused for thinking nobody cares so why am I doing this? Just imagine how you would feel and then perhaps you can call your dear elected official who sent them there.
